The Big Bang Theory delivered its largest audience ever and matched its best adult 18-49 and adult 25-54 ratings while How I Met Your Mother posted season high adult 18-49 and adult 18-34 ratings, according to preliminary Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Monday, Nov. 3.
At 8:00 PM, The Big Bang Theory was first in adults 18-49 (3.8/10), adults 18-34 (3.0/09), second in households (6.1/09), viewers (9.90m) and adults 25-54 (4.5/10, -0.2 behind ABC). Big Bang Theory delivered series highs in households and viewers, matched series highs in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 and a season high in adults 18-34.
At 8:30 PM, How I Met Your Mother was first in adults 18-34 (3.5/09), tied for first in adults 18-49 (4.1/10, with ABC), second in households (6.0/09), viewers (9.56m) and adults 25-54 (4.5/10). How I Met Your Mother delivered season highs in households, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 while posting its largest audience since the Sept. 22 season premiere.
