NTI Broadcast Prime Highlights Week of 10/27/08

Univision continues to be the only major broadcast network to show growth in primetime versus the comparable weeks in 2007 among Adults 18-49 (+9%), Adults 18-34 (+11%), Adults 25-54 (+4%), Persons 2+ (+15%) and Households (12%) , while ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and CW show declines six weeks into the season.

Season-to-date, Univision has out-delivered at least one or more of the English-language broadcast networks, ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX on four out of five nights (34 nights or 81% of the time) among all Adults 18-34.

Univision was the #4 ranked primetime network for the week among Adults 18-34 (1.2 million) beating CBS.

For the week, Univision out-delivered ABC, CBS, NBC, or FOX on 6 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-34 and on 3 nights among Adults 18-49.

Univision was the #1 primetime network on Friday night beating ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and CW among Adults 18-34 (973,000). Additionally, Univision ranked as the #2 network in prime on Friday night among Adults 18-49 (1.8 million).

On Friday night, Univision had the Top 2 primetime programs thanks to #1 “Fuego en la Sangre” (Burning for Revenge) and #2 “Cuidado con el Angel” (Don’t mess with the Angel) among Adults 18-34.

Among Adults 18-34, Univision was the #3 broadcast network in primetime on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday.

Univision was the #5 network in the country for the entire week in overall prime among all Adults 18-49 (2.2 million), Persons 2+ (4.1 million), Teens 12-17 (255,000) and Households (2.4 million).

Univision’s “Cuidado Con El Angel” (Don’t mess with the Angel) helped the network rank #2 in the M-F/8-9pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.4 million) and #3 among Teens 12-17 (338,000).

“Fuego en la Sangre” (Burning for Revenge) made Univision the #4 network in the M-F/9-10pm time period among Adults 18-34 (1.6 million) and Teens 12-17 (333,000).

With its checkerboard line-up, Univision ranked as the #4 network in the M-F/10pm hour among Adults 18-49 (991,000) and ranked #3 among Teens 12-17 (202,000).

Sabado Gigante delivered its highest audience this season-to-date among Adults 18-49 (1.4 million), Persons 2+ (3.0 million), Men 18-49 (616,000), Women 18-34 (375,000), Kids 2-11 (369,000) and Households (1.9 million).

On Saturday night Univision was the #3 broadcast network in overall prime thanks to “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) among Adults 18-34 (672,000) and ranked #2 among Kids 2-11 (369,000).

For the fourth consecutive week, Univision captured the #1 network ranking in primetime among Kids 2-11 (531,000).
