CBS Has Largest Audience, Top 25-54; ABC Takes 18-49; NBC Wins 18-34
For the seventh week of the 2008-9 season (November 3-9), CBS . CBS had the largest audience, and the most adults 25-54. ABC edged NBC for the most adults 18-49 for the week, and NBC won the crown for adults 18-34.
CBS's average viewership of 11.04 million beat ABC by a 600,000+ viewers. Football boosted NBC with 8.89 million and Fox with 5.87 million were well behind. For demo adults 18-49 it was ABC just over NBC by 4.27 million to 4.27 million with CBS (4.02 million) close behind. For adults 25-54 it was CBS over ABC by 4.86 million to 4.80 million viewers, with NBC close behind in third (4.55 million) and Fox (3.09 million) fourth. In adults 18-34, NBC lead with 1.92 million to 1.73 million for ABC..
Univision was fifth across the board, and the CW was sixth across the board, as always. I am now including the tiny broadcast networks in this weekly chart for those wanting to note that ION averaged 70,000 adults 18-34 during prime time last week.
