NTI Broadcast Prime Highlights Week of 11/3/08

  • With seven weeks into the season, Univision is the only major broadcast network to show growth in primetime versus the comparable weeks in 2007 among Adults 18-49 (+5%), Adults 18-34 (+5%), Adults 25-54 (+1%), Persons 2+ (+12%) and Households (9%) , while ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and CW show declines.

  • For the week, Univision out-delivered ABC, CBS, NBC, or FOX on 5 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-34 and on 2 nights among Adults 18-49.

  • Univision tied with CBS as the #1 primetime network on Friday night among Adults 18-34 (1.1 million). Additionally, Univision ranked as the #3 network in prime on Friday night among Adults 18-49 (2.1 million).

  • On Friday night, Univision had the Top primetime program thanks to #1 "Fuego en la Sangre" (Burning for Revenge)) among Adults 18-34.

  • Univision was the #5 network in the country for the entire week in overall prime among all Adults 18-49 (2.0 million), Adults 18-34 (1.1 million), Persons 2+ (3.9 million), Teens 12-17 (237,000) and Households (2.2 million).
  • Univision's "Cuidado Con El Angel" (Don't mess with the Angel) helped the network rank #2 in the M-F/8-9pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.4 million) and Teens 12-17 (337,000).
  • "Fuego en la Sangre" (Burning for Revenge) made Univision the #3 network in the M-F/9-10pm time period among Adults 18-34 (1.5 million) and ranked #4 among Teens 12-17 (322,000).
  • Univision's "Destino 2008" (2008 Election Coverage) experienced double-digit growth when compared to the last election in 2004 among key demos including Total Viewers 2+ (+44%), Adults 18-34 (+30%), Adults 18-49 (+45%) and Adults 25-54 (+43%), outpacing the growth experienced by all major English-language broadcast networks.

  • "Destino 2008" (2008 Election Coverage) on Univision averaged 4.0 million Total Viewers 2+, 2.2 million Adults 18-49, 1.9 million Adults 25-54 and 1.1 million Adults 18-34 from 8 to11pm, delivering record audience levels on a presidential election night.

  • Univision's "Destino 2008" (2008 Election Coverage) delivered the youngest set of viewers (37 years), approximately 10 years younger than the average English-language broadcast networks.

  • On Saturday night Univision was the #1 broadcast network in overall prime thanks to "Sabado Gigante" (Giant Saturday) among Kids 2-11 (375,000), #3 among Teens 12-17 (125,000) and ranked #4 among Adults 18-34 (688,000).
  • For the fifth consecutive week, Univision captured the #1 network ranking in primetime among Kids 2-11 (560,000).
