For the ninth week of the 2008-9 season (November 17-23), CBS had the largest audience, and the most adults 25-54. ABC had the most adults 18-49 and just edged Fox for most adults 18-34.
CBS's average viewership of 12.04 million beat ABC by nearly 2 million viewers. The 24 movie boosted Fox with 8.44 million past NBC with 7.09 million. For demo adults 18-49, ABC beat CBS by 4.17 million to 4.02 million with Fox (3.98 million) close behind. For adults 25-54 it was CBS over ABC by 5.02 million to 4.54 million viewers, with Fox close behind in third (4.31 million) and NBC (3.70 million) fourth. In adults 18-34, ABC jwith 1.82 million just beat Fox with 1.80 million.
Univision was fifth across the board, and the CW was sixth across the board, as always. I am now including the tiny broadcast networks in this weekly chart for those wanting to note that MyNetworkTV averaged 40,000 adults 18-34 during prime time last week.
