CBS, ABC Share Prime-time Honors In Tenth Week

CBS Has Largest Audience, Top 25-54; ABC Takes 18-49 and 18-34

For the tenth week of the 2008-9 season (November 24-30), CBS . CBS had the largest audience, and the most adults 25-54. ABC edged CBS for the most adults 18-49 for the week, and ABC edged Fox for the crown for adults 18-34.

CBS's average viewership of 11.02 million beat ABC by about 700,000 viewers. NBC with 8.89 million with 6.60 and Fox with 6.11 million were far behind. For demo adults 18-49 it was ABC just  over CBS by 3.81 million to 3.79 million with NBC and Fox trailing. For adults 25-54 it was CBS over ABC by 4.61 million to 4.45 million viewers, with NBC and Fox again trailing badly. In adults 18-34, ABC just edgedFox by 1.45 million to 1.44 million.

Tiny Network Smackdown! And while it was an unusual week (Thanksgiving!), it is noteworthy that MyNetworkTV beat the CW in both average viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, and was close behind for adults 18-34.
