Buzz off jbjm. The Bianca storyline has been going on for years and if you're just figuring out that she's gay now, I'm surprised that you manage to turn on a television. and the Bianca storyline is what made you vote yes on 8? How sad. So gullible.

To answer your question Tracy, it's probably because few people bother to watch soaps anymore. The religious nutbags tend to go after shows that are "hot," so to speak, and the soaps definitely are not.

Good news this week - no series lows! That's the first in a long time.

I'm hoping somebody can help me answer this. Considering these are programs aired during the day (during the Summer kids are home), feature heavy content not suitable for children. Why don't we ever hear the PTC, ADA, AFA, and every other religious nut for the safety of kids raise a fuss about these shows? Boycotts. Protesters. Broadcast stations are all about ratings (add nausea). I already know that Procter & Gamble are so far up the these religious reich's rectums. So, what makes these popular shows so different from the ballyhooing outcry of the Jesus-money loving clan members who attack evening shows? What do we get to see on soap operas? Infidelity, un-wed parents, birth control issues, betrayal, current gay story lines which (is an in thing now) would be a big no-no during prime time. These fanatics don't pay attention to what's on in the day time? What about extremely young children who don't go to pre-school or daycare? What about their precious eyes and ears? Why the attack only on prime time? Advertisers heavily rely on capturing consumers. Especially, housewives and whatnot. Or is it only about making a buck and not watching out for the young impressionable ones?

Bill? Robert? Anybody? Can you explain?

JBJM: Did you vote to take away anyone else's legal rights back on Election Day, or just gay people's?

AMC lost this 20 year viewer forever with it's way too "in your face" story-line about gay-lovers, Bianca and Reece. It's the reason I rounded up as many friends as I could and personally drove them to the polls to vote YES on Prop 8, to keep marriage between a man and a woman. I am NOT a mormon. Just an American fed up with political correctness and the rapid disintegration our country's morals and culture.
