Nov Sweep 2008 (10/30/08 – 11/26/08):

During the recently completed 2008 November Sweep, ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” was up in Total Viewers (1.93 million vs. 1.88 million) and Adults 18-49 actuals (826,000/0.6 rating vs. 807,000/0.6 rating) compared to the 2007 November Sweep.  In fact, “JKL” built on the previous November Sweeps period for the third consecutive year and turned in its most-watched November ever. 

·       Looking at all Sweeps periods, “Jimmy Kimmel Live” attracted its largest Sweep audience since February 2007 and second most-watched overall in its nearly 6 year history.  In addition, “JKL” delivered its highest Adults 18-49 Sweep performance since May 2007.  

·       “JKL” beat CBS’ “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” during the month among Adults 18-49 (826,000/0.6 rating vs. 798,000/0.6 rating), representing the second November in a row and for the third consecutive Sweeps period overall to beat the CBS program.  In addition, “JKL” outperformed “Ferguson” among Adults 18-34 (307,000/0.5 rating vs. 304,000/0.4 rating) and Adults 25-54 (957,000/0.8 rating and 938,000/0.8 rating) for the second November running.   

·       “JKL” defeated NBC’s “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” during the November Sweep among Women 18-49 (523,000/0.8 rating vs. 489,000/0.7 rating) and Women 25-54 (597,000/0.9 rating vs. 547,000/0.9 rating).

·       On final Tuesday (11/25/08) of the month, featuring “DWTS” champion Brooke Burke and her partner Derek Hough with musical guest, “Jonas Brothers,” “JKL” drew its largest audience (2.35 million) on any night in 6 months – since 5/20/08.  

·       Sweep to Date (10/30/08 – 11/23/08), in Nielsen’s C3 Ratings data (Commercial Ratings + 3 Days of Playback) for the new television season, “JKL” tops CBS’ “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” by 13% in Adults 18-49 (0.63 C3 ratings vs. 0.56 C3 ratings).
