Thanks to the Saturday primetime NFL Divisional Playoff Game between the Cardinals and the Panthers, Fox dominated the 16th week of the 2008-9 season (January 5-11), with the largest audience, and the most adults 18-49. We didn't get adults 18-34 or adults 25-54 data this week. I'm not sure whether we'll see those numbers again or not.

Fox's average viewership of 14.17 million beat CBS by over 2 million viewers. ABC and NBC were each another 3 million or more behind CBS. For demo adults 18-49 it was Fox over CBS by 6.6 million to 4.08 million with NBC and ABC in a close race for third.

Tiny Network Smackdown Update! MyNetworkTV's run of  finishing ahead of the CW is over for now as CW original shows have returned. In both audience measures we got number for this week the CW topped its tiny network competition, narrowly in average viewers, but comfortably in adults 18-49.
