“Jimmy Kimmel Live” Draws its Largest Audience in 4 Weeks 

“JKL” Posts Increases of 16% in Viewers and 22% in Adults 18-49 Over Same Week Last Year, Improving its Year-to-Year Performance for 2nd Consecutive Week

“JKL” Beats CBS’ “Ferguson” in Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49

Weekly National Ratings:

During the week of February 16, 2009, ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” saw increases over the prior week by 3% in Total Viewers (1.68 million vs. 1.63 million) and by 5% Adults 18-49 (751,000 vs. 712,000), building on the previous week’s performance in Total Viewers for the 3rd week in a row.  In fact, “JKL” attracted its largest audience in 4 weeks – since week of 1/19/09.   

·       “Kimmel” was up over the same week last year (w/o 2/18/08) by 16% in Total Viewers (1.68 million vs. 1.45 million) and by 22% in Adults 18-49 (751,000 vs. 615,000), growing over the same week last year for the 2nd consecutive week.  

·       Competitively, “Jimmy Kimmel Live” bested CBS’ “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” by 9% in Adults 18-34 (277, 000 vs. 254,000) and by 8% in Adults 18-49 (751,000 vs. 697,000).
