11 million viewers in a country of a billion seems pretty bad really. Unless there are ~600 million peasants who can’t afford TVs.

So it’s the mandarin version of ‘Betty La Fea’, not ‘Ugly Betty’ because UB is the remake and the other one is the original.

yes, it’s a different version, and so far as I know not related (other than general subject matter) to the US version.

So could they possibly be working out a deal to keep Betty coming? (Which would explain saying it’s coming back despite recent ratings.)
