TOP MODEL Ranks Second in Adults 18-34 and Young Women;

Tops NBC and ABC in Adults 18-49 and Viewers


MODEL Scores Second Largest Audience of the 08-09 Season

March 12, 2009 (Burbank, CA) – AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL gained steam and audience in week two, as last night’s telecast built over last week’s debut by 15% in total viewers (4.5mil), 6% in adults 18-49 (1.9/6) and 4% in women 18-49 (2.9/8), according to Live Plus Same Day Nielsen ratings for Wednesday, March 11, 2009.  This marks the second largest audience for an episode of TOP MODEL during the 2008-2009 season (behind only the Fall finale).


            With the updated final ratings, last night’s TOP MODEL improved by 11% over the first hour of last week’s two-hour premiere in adults 18-34 (2.1/7) and matched the premiere’s first hour performance in women 18-34 (3.1/10).


TOP MODEL ranked second in the 8:00-9:00p.m. time period among women 18-34 (3.1/10), adults 18-34 (2.1/7) and women 18-49 (2.9/8), behind only Fox.  TOP MODEL beat NBC (the debut of “Chopping Block”) and ABC in the hour among total viewers (4.5mil) and adults 18-49 (1.9/6).
