I see the ratings are still tanking for GH and I wonder why. The ABC and GH execs. say they are listening to the fans opinion but they still have not made any changes on the show. The fans are lashing out because of the bad writing and the destruction of their favorite couples and we have GH firing good actors and actresses and not balancing the show out with romance and family units. GH has become mob central or the Sam show and fans are tuning out. The ABC execs. have a supercouple in Jason and Elizabeth but they don’t capitalize on it. I hate to say this but at this rate GH will not be around much longer if things keep going in the direction they are going.
GH need more of Nancy Lee Grahn’s Alexis and Greg Vaughan’s Lucky!
They diserve the low rating and they will loose me as a fan if they break up scrubs. I hate their storyline can barely watch will completely loose me if they put liz with patrick! Yuck!
I’m a 20yr old, male, full-time college student (yeah not the typical demographic) while I don’t consider myself a soap junky…I do record and watch The Bold and the Beautiful. I love this show. I think it is due to it only being 30 minutes long, has a smaller cast (how hard is it to keep up with two families), good actors, and decent story lines. No wonder it is the most watched soap in the world and continues to place second in the ratings.
I just hate how B&B always gets the cold shoulder at the Daytime Emmys…hopefully 2009 will be different.

Hey, WillieinDET313, I’m a 15-year old boy who watches 2 soaps !Again DAYS still in 3rd position. Hope in the future it will pass Bold & Beautiful. Cant wait till Tony spill the beans on Nicole this week or next(Mar 23-27)!! But he only knows the half of it; Nicole exchanged Mia’s for Sami’s. I had a feeling that Mia would have come back. PS:Mia is hot!!

I just sorted out the mess in OLTL since i wasnt able to watch it last week. Shane has leukemia and goes bald. Rex shaves his head in yesterday’s(Thursday 19th) episode to support. A donor has been found for Shane & its “John Doe”, a secret friend of Roxy. Who’s is it!! Gigi’s sister Stacy is a wannabe & uses her skills(pole dancer) to get the job right! She slept with Rex & Fish, who else is she’s gonna do it with, the lab guy at the hospital. PS:Stacy looks better than Gigi. LOL
Sometimes I wonder if they are deliberately sabotaging GH. They refuse to listen to viewers about what we want to see. They continue to force unlikable characters down our throat, with constant air time. They write contrived storylines that do not make sense, and that are full of violence. It is all mob and action related, with very little love and romance. The sad thing is, daytime does not have the budget to do action well. It always comes off looking sub-standard in comparison to prime time tv. The strong point for daytime tv has always been their love,romance,deception,betrayal,and dsysfuntional relationships. They break up all the couples that people like, and proceed with couples that no one likes. To me this makes no sense at all. They had a couple on that show, that was never even given the air time or storyline that any full fledge couple gets, yet it tops the polls in all the magazines, wins online contests all the time, and was voted the most romantic and hottest couple two years in a row. I am talking of Jason and Elizabeth, and the reason given is the president of ABC Daytime does not like them. You would think he would go with what the fans like, instead of what he likes. Obviously what he likes is tanking in ratings. That should be a clue that maybe he is not in tune with his audience.
