>> Fox is arguably the most impacted network and took the longest to agree to airing the speech. The network will move Tuesday's two-hour performance episode of "Idol" to Wednesday, and the Wednesday episode to Thursday at 8 p.m. That preempts "Lie To Me" and "Bones" and puts mega-rated "Idol" against the mega-rated NCAA finals (which neither Fox nor CBS can be all that thrilled about).
>> NBC will move Tuesday's two-hour "Biggest Loser" to 9 p.m., preempting "Law & Order: SVU."
>> CBS likewise is dumping its 10 p.m. procedural ("Without a Trace") and moving its two earlier dramas, "NCIS" and "The Mentalist," forward an hour.
-- ABC normally airs a "Dancing with the Stars" recap show, which shouldn't be a problem to preempt.
So what is FOX airing Tuesday at 9?
Another Obama speech?! Good thing most of my favorite programs are on cable.
This is crazy. They are preempting Bones again? Come on guys. Why do we need all four stations to broadcast it?
Why do we need ANY stations to broadcast it? If someone wants to skip out on their fav shows for politics, they should switch to CNN. Thats what its there for.

Bones is going to die if Fox keeps preempting it for that Idol shizz.
Honestly, i’m getting really really annoyed with Bones never being on anymore. I realize there’s very little they can do, and that if Fox feels they need to air the speech then they’ve made the right schedule move, but as a Bones fan, this is frustrating.
so when is SVU going to be on?
Well FOX is showing two House reruns that week instead of a new BONES episode. So typical of FOX, trying to kill off one of their good shows and keeping junk like Dollhouse, Terminator, Hells Kitchen. Is this the way their new management is going to reward loyal BONES fans who never know when their show is on? What is on ABC now?
And talk about AI, boring, boring.
So no new bones next week, yeah that really pisses me off. I don’t think FOX is trying to get rid of Bones but I do think they are taking to many chances with it by moving it around so much and screwing it over to show crap like American Idol. I’m glad that Bones is gonna have 26 episodes this season though.
Reaper’s going to have a one time opportunity to get a showing to some potentially new viewers. It will have the English broadcast field to itself on Tuesday at 8pm. And at this point, Reaper needs all the help it can get.
All I have to say is that Fox has really, really disappointed all of us.
After all the promotion and advertising for the “11 episodes in a row”, they leave me disheartened and let down.
I understand that these things happen, but now all I’m hoping for is that they air ALL 26 episodes THIS season and that they don’t cut any. A Fox exec at the Bones forum has said it is possible that they air one of this season’s episodes next season, which is NOT an option in my book. Whatever you need to do, Fox, please air all the episodes meant for this season.
BONES is perfectly safe. Blame the President, not FOX. BONES will be just fine. That show has an extreme loyal following, they could air it on Saturday nights and likely get their 8M viewers.
i like what Nick said, blame the president. I doubt Fox wants Bones to die. It’s shown that it can be in just about ANY timeslot and still pull around 10 million viewers and around a 3.0 rating. Think of it this way. Bones will probably have no weeks of repeats from April 2nd to the season finale. Excited for this thursdays episode though!

I do agree that the President could’ve picked a different day for a speech, But they should post Bones and Lie to Me in the two hour rerun slot for House. I mean c’mon, where is the structure here? GO BONES! Lol.
I still don’t see why Fox can’t bump the 2 reruns of House on monday and put in the new epi of Bones. . I already read that they might cut an episode from this season and air it in next season. There are plenty ways around it they just don’t care about what the viewers think.
Thanks to Fox because they sold the rerun rights for Bones to TNT, between TNT and Hulu I don’t need to watch Fox ever and don’t intend to. Bones should move to TNT or USA network.
I swear this is the only president to date that I’ve seen that regularly interrupts regularly scheduled TV. Bush and Clinton seldom did it and most often aired their speeches earlier.
Wake up everyone! The Obama camp knows exactly what it’s doing…it’s trying to upend Fox where ever and when ever it can, and help the networks that support (worship) Obama the most. Instead of whining about what’s on and what’s not, take a stand and DON’T WATCH ANY OF THE NETWORKS airing the president’s speech.
While ABC normally airs a recap show, According to Jim is actually returning that night so that will mess up the whole final season scheduling.
I’m just glad it’s not on Monday again. Another break would kill Chuck. It’s bad enough with this two week break as it is.
