Top Model Improves Week-to-Week with Women 18-34

 

Top Model Ranks Second in the Hour with Women 18-49 and Persons 12-34;

Again Beats NBC in Adults 18-49

 

Top Model Builds By Double-Digits in Second Half Hour

 

March 19, 2009 (Burbank, CA) – Facing all original competition, The CW’s AMERICA’S Next Top Model won the 8:00-9:00p.m. time period in key young women demos, including women 18-34 (3.2/10) and females 12-34 (3.2/10), according to Live Plus Same Day Nielsen ratings for Wednesday, March 18, 2009.

 

Top Model improved over last week’s episode in its target women 18-34 (3.2/9, +3%).

 

Top Model ranked second in the hour with women 18-49 (2.6/7), adults 18-34 (2.1/7-tie ABC) and persons 12-34 (2.0/7).   Top Model beat NBC at 8pm in adults 18-49 (1.7/5) and total viewers (3.8mil).

 

Top Model delivered double-digit gains in the second half-hour in all key demos, building at 8:30 by 21% with women 18-34, 16% with adults 18-34, 13% with adults 18-49 and 17% with women 18-49.

    and 90210 set records for a major network on a Wednesday at 9/8 in least watched records.

  2. Using major network to describe CW seems very very wrong.

    julia, that might seem wrong, but it’s true. When you brag about winning a demo in one hour among all networks, you’re a major network. It’s only fair to mention they had less than 1M total viewers in the next hour.
