UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - April 9, 2009 - NBC's late-night lineup has dominated the week of March 30-April 3 over all cable and broadcast competition, with "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" outscoring CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" in every key ratings category: adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 and total viewers. At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" has also topped CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" for the week by every key ratings measure.

Jay's margins over Letterman were a dominant 53 percent in 18-49 viewers and 46 percent in total viewers, while Jimmy Fallon generated advantages of 49 percent in 18-49 and 17 percent in total viewers. Jay and Jimmy stretched their margins in the younger half of the target 18-49 demo, adults 18-34, with Jay posting a 62 percent advantage over Letterman and Jimmy topping Ferguson by 81 percent.

Season-to date, Jay is increasing his leads over Letterman this season vs. last, establishing a 29 percent margin over Letterman in 18-49 viewers, up from a 23 percent lead at this point last season, and a 33 percent advantage in total viewers, up from last year's 27 percent. Jimmy Fallon leads Ferguson for their five weeks of competition by a 62 percent advantage in 18-49 viewers and 26 percent in total viewers. Once again, both Jay and Jimmy stretch their leads among younger adults, with Jay enjoying a 49 percent margin in 18-34 viewers season to date and Jimmy Fallon out-delivering Ferguson so far by 117 percent.

Since his March 2 debut, Jimmy Fallon has won 25 of 25 nights over Ferguson and Kimmel in adults 18-49.

At 1:35 a.m. ET for the week, "Last Call with Carson Daly" tied Kimmel and Ferguson in adult 18-49 rating (0.5 each) and adult 18-34 rating (0.4 each).

For the week of March 30-April 3, Jay's average 2.027 million adults 18-49 topped the 1.323 million of Letterman; in total viewers, Jay's audience of 5.299 million persons beat Letterman's 3.621 million; and in adults 18-34, Jay's 835,000 out-scored Letterman's 515,000. At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon's 1.047 million adults 18-49 for the week out-delivered Ferguson's 705,000; in total viewers, Jimmy's 1.995 million beat Ferguson's 1.702 million; and in adults 18-34, Jimmy's 488,000 topped Ferguson's 269,000.
