I love that prime time starts at 7 in the midwest instead of 8. Thinking about 10pm and later, that’s when I start to do any last bits of studying I might need for classes the next day, so live viewing wraps up nicely. On the other hand, I watch less at 7/7:30 than later (House, Scrubs, TSCC is it), so it’s less of an impact there. But Lost, Fringe, 24, Heroes, Office/30 Rock, and Dollhouse at 8 is perfect when I watch live.

I think that its maybe the Midwest and Mountain regions don’t like their shows starting at 7pm and play catchup.

Seems kind of obvious… If 65% of people DVRing Idol watch it the same night, it only makes sense that they are less likely to watch one of the 10 pm shows….and people with conflicts at 9 (watch one, DVR one) are more likely to watch their DVRed show than whatever is on at 10.

my Aunt and Grandparents recoder everything they watch and i have been starting lately at 10 i started to watch something and last night and fell asleep at like 10:15 so know i am starting to tape most stuff at 10 lately
