WINS THE WEEK - BEATING THE COMPETITION IN TOTAL VIEWERS, A25-54 AND HOMES
NEW YORK - April 14, 2009 - According to Nielsen Media Research data, "NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams" was the most-watched network evening newscast, winning the week of April 6 - 12, 2009. During the week, the Williams-led newscast averaged 8.253 million total viewers, +769K more than ABC "World News'" 7.484 million, and +2.387 million more than CBS "Evening News'" 5.866 million. Season-to-date "Nightly" leads ABC by 803K viewers.
"Nightly" has won for 26 consecutive weeks in total viewers, and for twenty straight weeks in A25-54. Versus the same week last season, "Nightly" increased in homes (+4%) and total viewers (+5% or +357,000).
Among the key demographic adults 25-54, "Nightly News" posted a 1.9 rating, ahead of ABC's 1.8 rating and CBS' 1.5 rating. "Nightly" led "World News" by +161,000 A25-54 viewers for the week. Season-to-date "Nightly" leads ABC by 307K A25-54 viewers.
In homes, "Nightly News" won with a 5.6 rating and a 11 share. In second place ABC drew a 5.1/11, and CBS posted a 3.9/8.

Just notice something. ABC is catching up to NBC. Just 0.1 behind in the Adults 25-54 comparing to 0.2 to your guys last post in March. I personally watch ABC; to me its better.

The media is biased. I try to find the least biased reporting available and it usually is not one of the big 3 (ABC, NBC, CBS).
I will not watch the big 3 – too biased!!!
