DAYS is still 3rd in viewers for like 4 months now. Friday’s(April 17th) episode was amazing: at the end, Mia came up & said i do!! Nicole is like WHAT THE …..!!! Melanie was actually helpful this week! LOL! Kate loves revenge! And will Sami tell EJ about Grace? So exciting!!
GH is dropping like a stone. Guess the viewers dont like the Claudia/Sonny thing.
My wife will be glad to see Days Of Our Lives doing better. Show is picking up some momentum.
ATWT needs an overhaul of writers. Storylines are repetitive, and repeated constantly. Time for a new headwriter, unless it is going to become CBS’ next sacrificial lamb.
One Life to Live deserves more exposure. I mostly see promos for All My Children.
As for CBC, they have the two bottom soaps, this is bad. I wonder if Limetime or the CW will pick up Guiding Light. GL could air at 3pm leading in the Tyra at 4pm.
AMC is becoming GH-Lite. Return AMC to its roots, get rid of the gansta’ style of writing. The new head writer has done nothing but destroy popular couples and reduce top stars to subpar scripts. Maybe Pratt is a Passante protege from ATWT with boring scripts and plotlines.
GL took a dump in credibility years ago when they cloned Reva. ATWT under Hogan Scheffer was an awarding winning show, and usually won its time period. Passanante’s writing is redundant, and almost a complete repeat of the crap she wrote before she was fired from AMC. Plus, all she is doing is recycling the same story lines from ATWT from 6 months ago. Nothing unique or original. Time for CBS and P&G to make some changes. ATWT is worth saving!
Next week’s ratings are posted at SON. All of ABC’s soaps were below a 2 rating, for the first time ever. It’s not looking good.
My how the mighty GH has fallen! It ranks just above two soaps on the chopping block. Could GH be next? I would hope not seeing it’s been a big part of my life for many years. But even I threw in the towel back in Decemeber and stopped watching. If GH is to have any hope, they need to get rid of Brian Frons first and foremost. He thinks he knows what fans want but he has no idea. His constant need to dictate storylines and the direction of the show has been an utter disaster! GH also needs to clean up the writing. To bring back viewers, GH must bring back the romance. They need to reunite couples fans want to see like Liz/Jason! GH also needs to focus less on the mob and more on familes. And finally, GH needs to stop focusing so much on characters the fans don’t care about like Rebecca and Claudia! It wouldn’t hurt if they used Becky Herbst more too. Becky’s been on GH the longer than any other female in her age bracket and she’s built up a huge following. However she is so poorly used for someone with such a large fanbase as hers.
