CBS Opens the May Sweep With A Win In Viewers and Adults 25-54

"Survivor:  Tocantins" Wins Time Period in all Key Measures

"CSI" Is Thursday's Number One Show in Viewers

CBS placed first in viewers and adults 25-54 on the first night of the May sweeps led by time period winning SURVIVOR: TOCANTINS and CSI, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings forThursday, April 23.

SURVIVOR was first in households (6.9/12), viewers (11.38m), adults 25-54 (4.5/13) and adults 18-49 (3.5/11). 

CSI was first in households (9.2/14), viewers (14.45m), second in both adults 25-54 (4.9/11) and adults 18-49 (3.6/09). 

HARPER'S ISLAND (5.0/09, 7.48m) averaged a 2.6/07 in adults 25-54 and 2.0/06 in adults 18-49. 

For the night, CBS was first in households (7.0/12), viewers (11.10m), adults 25-54 (4.0/10) and second in adults 18-49 (3.1/09, -0.1 behind ABC).
