ABC Averages Move Up For The Week, Takes Second in 18-49

ABC moved out of its typical spring range this week (April 20-26)  beating CBS in adults 18-49 for second place. It also closed the typical gap with CBS in adults 25-54 and with Fox in 18-34, but didn't move up a position in either age demo.

Fox continued to crush the competition in the age demos, and CBS topped average viewers, although numbers were down across the board from last week for all the big English broadcasters besides ABC.

And while Univision was close in the adults 18-34 demo, NBC managed to finish ahead of it for the week, something they haven't always been able to manage this spring. Univision did beat CBS in the 18-34 demo, something it has been doing routinely.

Tiny Network Smackdown Update! The CW was the victor across the board last week in its tussle with MyNetworkTV.
