- Across April, Cartoon Network earned respectable prime time and total day growth among its target audience of kids 6-11. Compared to the same month last year, average prime time delivery of kids 6-11 (477,000) grew by 6% while ratings (2.0) increased by 5%. In total day, average kids 6-11 delivery (338,000) improved by 4% while ratings advanced by 8% (1.4).
- Among the network’s programming highlights, the Sunday night movie franchise FLIX (7-9 p.m.) earned considerable across-the-board gains compared to the same time period last year-average kids 2-11 delivery (1,101,000) grew by 33%, kids 6-11 delivery (780,000) by 44% and kids 9-14 delivery (529,000) by 31%.
- Adult Swim added April 2009 to its ongoing monthly delivery crown for key young adult demos. Ranking #1 among all ad-supported basic cable networks, Adult Swim again took top honors for network total day delivery of adults 18-34 (456,000), adults 18-24 (260,000), men 18-34 (271,000) and men 18-24 (163,000).
- Adult Swim programming also accounted for 15 of the top 50 telecasts of the month on ad-supported basic cable among adults 18-34, more than any other network.
