This will make more sense to people who have actually watched Better Off Ted, but needless to say the folks behind the show were not all that happy about being bumped tonight. In response, the show's creator, Victor Fresco produced this mock commercial:

As one of the handful of people who watch this show, I find this short totally amusing.
This video is about as funny as the show. Which is to say, not funny at all.

If I’d done that, it might be more along the lines of Massive Dynamics! Maybe a shot of the White House being blown up from the movie “Independence Day” and add in the Congress blowing up from “Live Free – Die Hard”. LOL!

See this is why I like Ted, they take a situation that screwed them over and makes it amusing. Ted should get another season, at least over Scrubs.
It would be nice for ABC to renew Better Off Ted for another season. At least as a mid-season replacement show. The show has promise and reminds be of the movie “Office Space.” If you work for a big company, this show is for you! Sad to not be able to see the season finale due to yet another presidential campaign..ummm…press conference.

I think Bill you have to know the show to enjoy the humor in the video. Loved the Twitter vid too. I will miss BOT but maybe the good buzz from critics will get us a DVD release sooner or later ala Andy Richter Controls the Universe.

I liked the video. The show, although at times it can be funny, doesn’t really hold hold my attention.
Once they decide to ask to borrow the beheading sword from CBS after they wipe the blood of Harpers Island off it. CBS had a devil of time getting that sticky KINGS blood off when they got it from NBC.
I admit that never having seen BoT could certainly have influenced my enjoyment of the fake ad
Better Off Ted is rescheduled for tuesday at 830, which has to be the worst time slot because of American Idol so it wont do good that night, which may cause ABC to just cancel it but i really hope not!
