NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Friday would be so easy for it now with the weak lineups on the other networks.

Nick C,
Whatever happen to the Friday time slot?
It looks like NBC may be holding back Chuck just in case one of their new shows fail.

So much for the rumors that NBC knows the long hiatus will hurt Chuck.

You’re right on Marekzn – and I’m going to miss my Reaper . Made Tuesdays better! And hopefully Chuck will not suffer the same fate and come back sooner and in a better time slot.

I think this is a really poor move on NBC’s part. After the show builds up good momentum and a strong fan support base it punishs them by delaying it until after the Olympics? How can that be good for the show. I’m still glad its back on but really, this is worse than the Presidential speech interrupting the schedule by about a factor of 1000.

Dave M, not if NBC gives the show a full uninterrupted run of 13 episodes. I think it’ll be fine, though the competition will again be steep.
Okay it’s not ideal, but hopefully it means they’ll spend the winter olympics promoting it. The spots during last summer olympics are what got me to tune in.

Or alternatively they don’t want it going up against TWO dance shows, getting trounced in the ratings and having to cancel it mid order.

They did this to placate the fans. Make some money off of Subway. But they have no intention of giving us a back 9 or a season 4. Chuck is Chucked. Well 13 more glorious epsiodes and then the coffin.
Chuck and Sarah better be getting married this year because this is it. Talk about killing a great buzz.

No chance of a back nine? This is horrible news.

I actually think this is good news. Friday in the Fall would have most likely meant NBC was giving Chuck its last 13 episodes. Monday in the Spring means NBC is confident they can promote Chuck during the Olympics. I feel like the shows they are putting on after the Olympics are the ones the hope to become their long term successes.

FrankJ doesn’t matter the ratings we are getting 13 and that is it. There was never going to be a back 9. The WB must be pissed.

Dang…a long wait! I was crying that I had to wait 8 months for LOST, now I have to wait at least 9 months for Chuck! Ahhhhh!! O well I’m glad its back, we should launch a crazy but creative “Watch Chuck” campaign during the break!
