YEAR-TO-YEAR, “THE EARLY SHOW” SATURDAY EDITION JUMPS 25% IN ADULTS 25-54 AND 20% IN ADULTS 35-54, CUTTING THE GAP WITH ABC BY 33% AND 17%, RESPECTIVELY — SATURDAY, MAY 16

The CBS News Broadcast Was Also Up 8% in Viewers

THE EARLY SHOW Saturday edition was once again up double-digit percentages in key demos on May 16: up +25% in adults 25-54 and +20% in adults 35-54 (“boomers”), compared to last season, and up +8% among viewers. The May 16th broadcast was the 13th time this season THE EARLY SHOW Saturday edition has posted double-digit percentage increases in adults 25-54 and the 14th time in boomers.

In addition, the CBS News broadcast cut the gap with ABC by a huge 33% in adults 25-54 and 17% in adults 35-54. Season-to-date, THE EARLY SHOW Saturday edition is also up +10% in viewers compared to last year.
