  1. Anthony

Wow absolutely zero original programming. I guess that means every one of their programs have been canceled. Masters of Illusion, Magic Secrets Revealed, Jail, Street Patrol, Tony Rock Show, World’s Funniest Moments.

  2. Anthony, you are correct, no more original programming except WWE Friday Night Smackdown for MyNet. They have become a “programming service” whatever that means ;)

  3. Wendell

“Deal or No Deal” and “Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?” will be the new syndicated eps.

  4. sam

    TMZ gone 2???

  5. Anonymous

This schedule is better than the CWs!

  6. Sordid

I refuse to believe that this network actually exists.

  7. Wow… Smackdown is keeping that network alive

  8. David4

It;s not a real network anyways, they never said they did. The only point of the network is because someone, I think Fox, bought the channel up for cheap when the even more lame CW formed.

  9. karen

so NBC cancelled Deal or no Deal and My Network picked it up?

  10. djm

can I get a “who cares?”
    what a sad excuse for a network…

  11. sam

    no karen its in syndication

  12. Josh

I love this schedule more than The CW’s. Glad that MyNet didn’t take the easy way out and focus on the male 18-34 demographic (although ION should they could be the male CW).

  13. j

Any day that this network beats CW will be funny in a sad way. Except for Friday.

  14. Josh

At this rate MyNet will beat NBC on Fridays. Fox should have put same season repeats of House, Bones etc. on this network to ensure The CW failure. (I can dream.)

  15. pete

CW was formed to cut fox out of The UPN network when Fox bought the Chris Craft Network group making it where Fox owned 1/2 of UPN and would have sayso in Paramount(CBS) part of UPN, at some point Paramount tried to buy FOX out but that didn’t work so to go around this UPN and WB merged, so they could have the WB channles in the bigger markets, plus could pick and choose the better weblet to run in each market.

This left 100 or so oddball stations w/ no network, so Fox quickly put together MyNet, cheap American Telenovials an Idea that Fox was going to syndicate later that year, it was cheap so they figured they might as well try, worst case it would be a success.
Didn’t work so 2 and 1/2 years later we are here.

Got to say if The Unit’s 1st hour was an original, they may beat CW next year in raw numbers, I would watch everyone of those nights, not much of a Wrestling fan but CW was idiotic for letting it leave their net, it still surprises me that FOX or NBC hasn’t bid for it, since it either ties or beats their Fri weekly.

  16. At least it has The Unit and Deal or No Deal and L&O and 5th Grader.

  17. Chuck Collins

I wonder how many affiliates will drop this “programming service” for more serviceable programming that would actually get some ratings?

  18. Chuck, I agree. Since except for Smackdown, MyNet is just aggregating syndicated shows, they may be providing them at some sort of discount, either in money or assembly time than the individual stations/groups could assemble themselves otherwise why share revenue with MyNet if you can roll your own similar schedule.

  19. Jace

Reruns of two game shows, reruns of two old dramas, a retread movie, and the umpteenth year of who-cares-about-fake-”rasslin.” Oh yeah, that’s a GREAT lineup of absolute crap. And the above posters who actually have something good to say about this cobbled-together crapfest have shown us all, once and for all, that they are idiots who don’t need to be posting here. Your credibility (not that you ever had any) is looooooooong gone.

  20. Jace, as commenters above correctly note, the game shows will not be reruns but new syndicated episodes. Think Jeopardy.
