95 days til Dollhouse is back! Woo hoo!! Yay! Awesome!
I really wish they’d just bow to the unavoidable fact that The Wanda Sykes Show will be called The Wanda Sykes Show – what else are they going to call it?
On another note are they replaying the Glee pilot at the start of the new season then?
I don’t think that much Seth McFarlane on Sunday nights is going to work.
I just realized how little of the Fox lineup I plan to watch in the fall. Glee (unless I hate it), and House/Lie to Me/Fringe only if nothing better is on at the same time. Which there probably will be. Plus maybe Hell’s Kitchen. Not much.
The only thing that makes the renewal of the awful Dollhouse at all bearable to me is that it looks like Joss’s Biggest Fan will keep posting here. Until the show gets cancelled, of course. What can I say? I like cracktastic posts.
I second that emotion. Best thing about Dollhouse renewal is Joss’s Biggest Fan comments. Viva, JBF!
While Dollhouse is not for everyone, many of us find the show to be quite good and getting even better. Lie to Me is another that I expect to be much better in it’s second season even though I felt it was quite good even in it’s first season.
I don’t really know JBF but kudos to all the supporters of Dollhouse.
The Simpsons is going to be in its 21st season, Fox should know that.
I dont care Fux since there is no TSCC
Mark G:
JBF is an ironic name
Okay what idiot made the decision to put So You Think You Can Dance at 9pm right up against Dancing With the Stars Results Show and put a summer show like Hell’s Kitchen on as its lead-in?
Other than that the lineup is solid but FOX Fridays will be interesting.
Should be noted that Fox has put SYTTYCD up against Dancing With the Stars Result Show and NCIS-Los Angelos and the second hour of Biggest Loser…..Has Fox lost a bit of faith in SYTTYCD or are they in the lowering expectation mode? Also CW is airing their Melrose Place Remake at that hour also.
Nice sked FOX!
o good i can watch Cbs or abc or the CW
on Tuesdays
MichaelJA, I have no idea what FOX is thinking. Its also not a good decision to put two fat people shows like Hell’s Kitchen and The Biggest Loser head to head. FOX really should’ve just saved HK for mid-season or summer as a filler. I think they have little confidence in Dance and wants to use the excuse factor for its low ratings against DWtS. FOX should’ve just made a 3rd reality competition that was similar to Idol and Dance that way Dance isn’t overexposed.
@Hot Pocket — Hell’s Kitchen is not a “fat people show”. It’s a cooking/reality competition and has generally been a successful franchise for FOX. You might be confusing it with the upcoming “More to Love” that will air this summer.
Good, Glee and Bones premiere on back-to-back nights. Those are the only two I plan on watching.
I catch Family Guy and House in syndication, they aren’t “must sees” for me.
“I really wish they’d just bow to the unavoidable fact that The Wanda Sykes Show will be called The Wanda Sykes Show – what else are they going to call it?”
The no laugh show?
Continuing good move with Dollhouse, place it at a time where the demographic are out getting drunk *g*
So accept for Dollhouse on ocassion i really dont think ill be watching that much Fox until 24 comes back and now that TSCC is cancelled it all comes down to Jack Bauer whether i continue watching FOX. Plus on Monday through Friday why don’t they try to cut into the late night audience but simulcasting the 11-1 showing of Fox News Primetime.
Well, Thursday and Friday will be my Fox download nights for Fringe and Dollhouse.
Leverage will be back on TNT in another four weeks. So that’s three shows at least.
I need to get cracking on Burn Notice and True Blood and some others.
I can see SYTYCD being put up against DWTS. Reality show against reality show. That’s how it SHOULD be. Forget this crap about getting your fiction shows getting canceled by putting them up against non-fiction shows.
