I was just looking over this list and realized I will be watching CBS six out of seven nights this fall. Usually that much of my television time was set for NBC, but CBS has a killer schedule this fall. Favorite comedies on Monday, will be checking out the new NCIS on Tuesday (as well as the original), Gary Unmarried on Wednesday, The Mentalist Thursday, Medium(!!!) on Friday and The Amazing Race and new drama Three Rivers on Sunday.

Yes, I am one of the few Americans whom does not watch CSI: or any of the CSI: franchise’s. When a show’s name has a colon following it, it better be preceded with Law & Order or Denise Richards (lol).

By the way, does anyone know when NBC will announce their premiere dates? They are usually one of the first nets, but the only one announced so far has been The Jay Leno Show on Sept. 14. I am guessing it is the traditional fall premiere week (last full week in September) but was just curious.

Looks Good a fall schedule. I am same as huddy80 lookd like there is only 1 night there isnt something on that ill be watching. Theres only one thing dont like and thats NCIS:LA following NCIS i think it not gonna work they should of spilt them up like they do with the CSI’s

  6. Pas

    DWTS + Castle / House x2 / CBSs comedies / Heroes (leaked) + Trauma (I suppose).
That Monday 21 is gonna be really interesting…

  7. Pas

Oh my bad … I forgot Jay Leno ^^

  8. Christopher

lots to watch in the fall so much to tape thankful for Dvrs tape two in my room and one downstaris and watch one live lol

  9. Steve

I think that Heroes premiere will have good ratings (more than 7 mil. 3.3 18-49), ’cause HIMYM is not so popular as TAAHM,it has less viewers, and there is a new series ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE..so….GO HEROES!

  10. Jared

wow, didn’t realize NCIS was on going into its 7th season

  11. John

Glad to see Amazing Race get the two hour premiere it deserves!

  12. j

    Yay for mindless procedurals!

  13. sci fi

CBS has all the good shows! Looking forward to the Friday paranormal night GW/Medium in particular. Do you think they’ll do a cross-over?

  14. Dawn

That looks like a great schedule. Especially Friday (Medium-YAAAAYYY!!!). That’s one night I’ll DEFINITELY be watching. (And no, I wouldn’t look for a Medium/GW crossover- Glenn Caron said long ago that that would never happen). But it should be awesome seeing them paired up like that.

Another night that looks really good is Monday. I’ve recently started watching The Big Bang Theory and I’m hooked on it! It’s a scream! The other shows are good too, but I love that one.

  15. Boris

“Survivor: Samoa”? Cheez, send it to the Aleutians or South Orkneys already.

  16. AO

I’ve got The Amazing Race and….uh…

    A lot of free time!

  17. Looks like I’ll be spending half of my week with CBS shows (HIMYM, TBBT, Mentalist, Numb3rs) and the other half of my week with Fox shows (House, Lie to Me, Bones, Fringe, Simpsons). Sorted!

Apart from the awesome Castle on ABC, the only other non-CBS/non-Fox show I’ll be watching is Heroes on NBC; but with Bryan Fuller now gone and the much rumoured “Carnivale” theme for Volume 5, I fear for Heroes’ longevity because Tim Kring had (allegedly) planned out five seasons.

  18. Leo

Let’s see only two nights I will watch at all. Thursday Mentalist, and Friday Ghost Whisperer. Medium will get recorded and watched a week later. I like the show but it still isn’t better than Moonlight was. As for 3 rivers I do not watch a show just because of the actors in it. I liked him in Moonlight because I liked the story. There’s only so many doctors shows, cop shows and law shows I can stand, and they better have a real twist for me to watch them like Eli Stone did (which should have been put in a better time slot than killed off). By the way looks like they are playing the final 4 shows without having advertised at all which means I missed the first of the four last week. They keep killing off the good shows and keeping the crappy shows like CSI and Law & Order, and I will just stop watching all together. Someone please tell me what you see in those shows. Is it just because they have no story and it’s easier to catch up if you miss an ep? I just really don’t see the point in seeing reality in my face everyday. I want a story and a good story, not another type of soap opera.

As much as I root for Heroes, HIMYM is popular with the 18-49 demo thank you very much. Couple that with Dancing with the Stars. It will be tough. This “Accidentally On Purpose” this is sort of Murphy Brown redo. Sleep with guy, and get knocked up. What issue does CBS have with “Rules of Engagment?”

On the other hand “The Big Bang Theory” will get a boost from a 2 1/2 Men lead in.

I wonder how Three Rivers will do against Housewives…
