Disney XD’s Most-Watched Day of All Time in Viewers, Kids 6-14 and Boys 6-14

Driven by high profile original series, Phineas and Ferband newcomer “Zeke and Luther,” June 09 stood as Disney XD’s most-watched month in the net’s history (includes Toon Disney) in Total Day in Total Viewers (293,000) and target Kids 6-14 (145,000), surging by 26% and 63% (232,000 and 89,000, respectively), over year-ago levels.

In Prime, June 09 also qualified as Disney XD’s No. 1 month ever and posted double-digit percent increases year to year in Total Viewers (25% - 340,000 vs. 271,000) and Kids 6-14 (59% - 162,000 vs. 102,000).

Most impressive, during Total Day in June 09, Disney XD generated the net’s Top 3 most-watched weeks in its history across all key demos, specifically Kids 6-11 (155,000 – w/o 6/8/09 and 6/15/09; 146,000 – w/o 6/22/09) and Boys 6-14 (97,000 – w/o 6/8/09 and 6/15/09; 95,000 – w/o 6/22/09 146,000).

June 09 Programming

  • During June 09, newest original series “Zeke and Luther” launched as Disney XD’s No. 1 debut in Prime ever, and No. 1 half-hour series premiere on record in Kids 6-14 (305,000) and Tweens 9-14 (183,000), driven by core Boys 6-14 (232,000) and Boys 9-14 (131,000).
  • “Zeke and Luther” drove Disney XD to its highest numbers ever in the time period in Kids 6-11 (253,000) and across all key boy categories (B6-14, B6-11 and B9-14), and second best ever in Kids 6-14 and Tweens 9-14.
  • Powered by a “Phineas and Ferb” marathon earlier this month, Saturday, June 16, stood as Disney XD’s most-watched day off all time (includes Toon Disney) in Total Viewers (557,000), Kids 6-14 (271,000) and Boys 6-14 (164,000).
