Among All Adults 18-34, Regardless of Language

NPM Broadcast Prime Highlights Week of 06/29/09

•      Univision was the #1 network in the country for the entire week in overall prime among all Adults 18-34 (923,000) and Kids 2-11 (451,000) beating ABC, CBS, NBC, and CW.  Additionally, Univision ranked #2 among Teens 12-17 (170,000), #4 among all Adults 18-49 (1.7 Million) and #5 among Households (1.9 Million) and Persons 2+ (3.3 Million).

•       Univision out-delivered ABC, CBS, NBC, or FOX every night last week among Adults 18-34 and on 5 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-49.

•       Univision had 8 of the Top 20 Programs, more than any other network, among Adults 18-34 and 4 of the Top 20 Shows among Adults 18-49.

•       Regardless of language, Univision captured the #1 network ranking on Friday night among all Adults 18-34 (965,000) , all Adults 18-49 (1.8 Million), Teens 12-17 (176,000) and Kids 2-11 (512,000).

•      Univision had the Top 3 Programs on Friday night among Adults 18-34. #1 was “Mañana Es Para Siempre” (Tomorrow is Forever), #2 was“Cuidado Con El Angel” (Don’t Mess with the Angel) and #3 was “La Rosa de Guadalupe” (The Rose of Guadalupe).

•      Season-to-Date, Univision is experiencing year-to-year audience growth of +1% in prime time among all Adults 18-49 while the English-language broadcast networks are reporting declines: ABC (-7%), NBC (-4%), FOX (-17%) and CW (-21%).

•      Univision’s final week of “Cuidado Con El Angel” (Don’t Mess with the Angel) made Univision the #1 network in the M-F 8pm to 9pm time period among all Adults 18-34 (1.1 Million), Teens 12-17 (236,000) and Women 18-34 (686,000) and ranked #2 among Adults 18-49 (1.9 Million) and Women 18-49 (1.2 Million).

•      “Mañana Es Para Siempre” (Tomorrow is Forever) helped Univision capture the #1 network ranking in the M-F 9pm to 10pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.3 Million) and Women 18-34 (780,000) and #2 among Adults 18-49 (2.5 Million) and Teens 12-17 (231,000).

•      Univision’s 10pm checker-board programming helped the network garner the #1 position in that hour among Adults 18-34 (831,000) and Women 18-34 (469,000).

•      Univision was the #1 broadcast network on Saturday night thanks to “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) among Kids 2-11 (150,000).

•      On Sunday night, Univision was the #2 network of the night among Adults 18-34 (793,000), Teens 12-17 (143,000) and Kids 2-11 (316,000) beating ABC, CBS, NBC and Telemundo.

•      The CONCACAF “Copa Oro: Nicaragua vs. Mexico” game, helped Univision obtain the #1 network ranking in the Sunday 7pm to 9pm time period among Adults 18-34 (976,000), Adults 18-49 (1.7 Million), Men 18-34 (600,000) and Men 18-49 (1.1 Million).
