Univision the #2 Network in the Country in Overall Prime

Among All Adults 18-34 and Teens 12-17

NPM Broadcast Prime Highlights Week of 07/06/09

•      Univision was the #2 network in the country for the entire week in overall prime among all Adults 18-34 (946,000) and Teens 12-17 (178,000) beating ABC, CBS, NBC, and CW.  Additionally, Univision ranked #1 among Kids 2-11 (430,000), and #5 among all Adults 18-49 (1.7 Million), Households (1.9 Million) and Persons 2+ (3.2 Million).

•      Univision out-delivered ABC, CBS, NBC, or FOX every night last week among Adults 18-34 and Teens 12-17 and on 6 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-49.

•      Univision had 7 of the Top 20 Programs, more than any other network, among Adults 18-34 and 2 of the Top 20 Shows among Adults 18-49.

•      Univision captured the #1 network ranking on Friday night among all Adults 18-34 (1.0 million), all Adults 18-49 (1.8 Million), and Teens 12-17 (290,000), regardless of language.

•      Univision had the Top 3 Programs on Friday night among Adults 18-34 with #1 “Mañana Es Para Siempre” (Tomorrow is Forever), #2 “En Nombre del Amor” (In the Name of Love) and #3 “La Rosa de Guadalupe” (The Rose of Guadalupe).

•      On Monday night, 4.5 million viewers 2+, 2.3 million Adults 18-49 and 1.3 million Adults 18-34 tuned in to watch Univision’s one-hour grand finale of “Cuidado Con El Angel” (Don’t Mess with the Angel).

•      “Cuidado Con El Angel” (Don’t Mess with the Angel) final episode made Univision the #2 network in the 8-9pm hour on Monday nightamong A18-34 and P12-34, beating CBS, NBC, FOX, CW and TEL.

•      For the week, Univision was the #1 Network in the M-F 8-9pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.1 million) thanks to the finale of “Cuidado con el Angel” and the premiere week of “En Nombre del Amor” (In the Name of Love).

•      “Mañana Es Para Siempre” (Tomorrow is Forever) helped Univision capture the #1 network ranking in the M-F 9pm to 10pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.3 Million) and #2 among Adults 18-49 (2.4 Million).

•      Univision’s 10pm checker-board programming helped the network garner the #1 position in that hour among Adults 18-34 (951,000), out-delivering its closest competitor ABC by +22%.

•      Thanks to “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday), Univision was the #1 broadcast network on Saturday night among Kids 2-11 (176,000) andranked at #2 among Adults 18-34 (458,000).

•      On Sunday night, Univision was the #2 network of the night among Adults 18-34 (670,000), Teens 12-17 (135,000) and Kids 2-11 (226,000)beating ABC, CBS, NBC, CW and Telemundo.  Additionally, among Adults 18-49 (1.2 million) Univision was the #4 network ranker for the night.

•      The CONCACAF “Copa Oro: Mexico vs. Guadeloupe” game, helped Univision obtain the #1 network ranking in the Sunday 7pm to 9pm time period among Adults 18-34 (929,000), Men 18-34 (592,000) and Men 18-49 (1.2 Million).
