Cartoon Network’s newest live-action gameshow, Destroy Build Destroy (Wednesday, 8:30 p.m.) hosted by rocker Andrew W.K., earned solid gains compared to the same time period last year among its targeted kids demos. Kids 9-14 delivery (371,000) grew by 32%, while ratings (1.5) advanced by 25%. Boys 9-14 charted even more impressive gains, with boys 6-11 delivery increasing by 52% and ratings by 57%. Similarly, boys 6-11 delivery (354,000) improved by 32% and ratings (2.8) by 27%. Also worth noting, Destroy Build Destroy built on its lead-in (BrainRush) among all key demos—kids 9-14 delivery grew +75% and boys 9-14 by +88%.
Cartoon Network’s Sunday night FLICKS movie franchise (7-9 p.m.) posted solid gains compared to its performance a year ago in the same time period. Presenting Son of the Mask, FLICKS’ kids 2-11 delivery grew by 31%, kids 6-11 delivery grew by 51% and kids 9-14 delivery grew by 17%.
