Fox Tops the Primetime Averages Aided By The MLB All-Star Game
Fox was the “All-Star” this week across the board for broadcast primetime averages, topping (or tieing) all main ratings measures for the week of July 13-19, 2009. CBS tied Fox for the average viewer rating. The race for the #2 adults 18-49 rating was quite close between CBS, NBC, ABC and Univision which were all within a tenth of a rating point of each other. Univision was the clear #2 for adults 18-34 for the week.
Among tiny networks, MyNetworkTV was again ahead of the CW across the board for the week with the data I saw.
Note that the chart includes RATINGS not VIEWERSHIP as was typical in most of our weekly network ratings posts in the past. Excuse the two gaps in the data.

Each rating point is a percentage of the US TV population in that demographic group and equals: 2.90 million viewers, 1.32 million adults 18-49, 0.68 million adults 18-34 and 1.24 million adults 25-54.
