DISCOVERY CHANNEL’S DEADLIEST CATCH NEARS THE END OF ITS
FIFTH SEASON WITH RED HOT RATINGS
- New Series Debut of ‘THE COLONY’ Ranks in Cable’s Top Programs -
The Tuesday, July 21 at 9PM episode of DEADLIEST CATCH continued its
rating success, ranking #1 on ad-supported cable in prime for P25-54 (2252k),
M25-54 (1420k), P18-34 (919k), M18-34 (599k), P18-49 (2243k) and M18-49
(1384k). The new episode pulled in a 2.5 HH and surpassed, in key demos M25-
54 and M18-49, several broadcast programs, most notably: America's Got Talent
(NBC, 8p), Big Brother (CBS, 9p), NCIS (CBS, 8p), and Law & Order: SVU (NBC,
10p).
In addition, the series debut of THE COLONY at 10PM ranked among the top
five cable programs of the night for M25-54 (#3) and M18-49 (#4), pulling in 1.7
million viewers.
The season five finale of DEADLIEST CATCH will premiere Tuesday, July 28 at
9PM ET/PT, with the second episode of THE COLONY premiering after at 10PM
ET/PT.
Nice job on the ratings, Deadliest Catch! No way in h-e-double hockey sticks would I even consider trying, for any length of time, your jobs, though!
