Univision the #1 Network in the Country in Overall Prime On Thursday and Friday night Among All Adults 18-34
NPM Broadcast Prime Highlights Week of 07/20/09

§  Univision captured the #1 network ranking on Thursday (1.3 million) and Friday (1.0 million) night among all Adults 18-34, regardless of language.  Additionally, Univision was the #1 network on Friday night among Adults 18-49 (1.8 million) and Teens 12-17 (192,000).

§  On Friday night Univision had the Top 3 Programs among Adults 18-34 with #1 “Mañana Es Para Siempre” (Tomorrow is Forever), #2 “En Nombre del Amor” (In the Name of Love) and #3 “La Rosa de Guadalupe” (The Rose of Guadalupe).

§  Among Adults 18-49, Univision had the Top 2 Programs on Friday night with #1 “Mañana Es Para Siempre” (Tomorrow is Forever), #2 “En Nombre del Amor” (In the Name of Love)

§  For the third consecutive week, Univision was the #2 network in the country in overall prime among all Adults 18-34 (884,000) and Teens 12-17 (163,000) beating ABC, CBS, NBC, and CW.  Additionally, Univision ranked #1 among Kids 2-11 (356,000) and #5 among Persons 18-49 (1.6 million), Households (1.8 million) and Persons 2+ (2.9 million).

§  Univision out-delivered ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX on 6 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-34, on 5 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-49 and every night last week among Teens 12-17.

§  Univision had 7 of the Top 20 Programs among Adults 18-34, and 2 of the Top 20 Shows among Adults 18-49.

§  “En Nombre del Amor” (In the Name of Love) helped Univision capture the #2 network ranking in the M-F 8-9pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.0 million), Women 18-34 (652,000) and was #1 among Teens 12-17 (234,000).

§  “Mañana Es Para Siempre” (Tomorrow is Forever) made Univision the #2 network in the M-F 9pm to 10pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.3 Million), Women 18-34 (721,000) and ranked #3 among Adults 18-49 (2.4 million), Women 18-49 (1.4 million) and Teens 12-17 (198,000).

§  Univision’s checker-board programming helped the network garner the #2 position in the M-F 10-11pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.1 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.0 million).

§  In the 10pm hour, Thursday night’s CONCACAF Gold Cup: Costa Rica vs. Mexico game made Univision the #1 network among Men 18-49 (1.9 million), Men 18-34 (1.1 million) and was the #2 network in that hour among Adults 18-49 (3.0 million) and Adults 18-34 (1.7 million).

§  “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) made Univision the #2 broadcast network on Saturday night among Adults 18-34 (369,000).
