  1. Denver

Ugh DAYS is 5th now; it was 3rd for months a while back. I guess that most viewers dont give about Chloe but I personally love Chloe. PS: She’s so hot!! Kate needs to burn in hell for what she’s done! And so far this week July 27-31, Lucas returns from his trip, Daniel is arrested due to overwhelming evidence(he’s being framed by Kate), Bo & Hope are investigating, Brady & Arianna get kinda close, Sami talks to Meredith, Emily’s sister about her death, Rafe is surprised that she’s here in Salem, Stefano brought Meredith to Salem(hmm wonder what’s he’s planning?) & Chad is trying to back to Mia.

The Salem PD sure sucks at investigating; they didnt even talked to Maggie. The food & show was at here place!! Melanie & Mia lives there but as we(viewers) know that their investigating. Did you see that slap Stephannoying(lol) got from Melanie on Friday(July 24). Damn!! And I wonder whose that guy who keeps circling Hope’s picture in the newspaper and keeps spying on them. Hmm. I always hope that Celeste, Lexie’s mom, would return. Loved her when she would be possessed!!

All DAYS fans here, I have a lot of great news:
    1. According to The Muscular Dystrophy Association, the highest philanthropic achievement honor, which is the MDA Directors’ Award has gone to entertainment industry celebrities. One of the celebrities were Alison Sweeney(Sami Brady) who was honored for making outstanding contributions to MDA’s battle against muscular dystrophy and related disease and presented with their awards at the July meeting of the MDA Board of Directors in Los Angeles.

    2. Arianne Zuker (Nicole Walker-DiMera) is pregnant. Arianne and Kyle Lowder, her husband, known for playing Rick Forrester in The Bold and the Beautiful & Brady Black(before Eric Martsolf came last year) are expecting a birth this December, but says the pregnancy will not be written into the storyline. She’s expecting their first baby and we’re expecting to see Nicole carry some large purses to cover up the growing bump. And if anyone was wondering, it’s a girl!

    3. Kevin Spirtas is reprising his role as Dr. Craig Wesley for a short while and will return to Salem to aid his daughter Chloe, whose health is deteriorating rapidly, thanks to psychotic Kate Roberts who has been consistently poisoning her. Let’s hope his wife, Nancy will come as well. OLTL viewers, remember Jonas Chamberlain, the guy from Mendorra associated with Tina Lord last year; well Kevin portrayed him!

    4. Lindsay Hartley, who portrayed Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald in Passions, has reportedly been hired by Days of Our Lives to take over the role of Arianna Hernandez, currently played by Felisha Terrell. Felisha, sadly, has been let go. It would be likely we’d see her in the role within a matter of weeks. Loved her in Passions & now in DAYS!! WOW Brady & Arianna; just like Ethan & Theresa in Passions and still will have the same brother(Rafe/Luis)!

    5. Molly Burnett(Melanie Layton) and Casey Deidrick(Chad Peterson) are dating in real life!

    6. Days of Our Lives has hired Louise Sorel to return to Salem and portray wicked and humorous Vivian Alamain, who is confirmed to be returning this September. Sorel, no stranger to soaps, played the part of Vivian from 1992-2000, and during this time, she has made a lot of enemies in Salem and kept a lot of soap fans entertained. It’ll be interesting to find out where she fits in with Kate, Victor, Carly, Stefano, upon her return. Hope Ivan coming along as well. Loved her!!

    7. Crystal Chappell(Carly Manning) is returning to DAYS. Also her husband, Michael Sabatino, will resume his role as Lawrence Alamain, last seen in Salem in 1993. He is most known of roles in other soaps such as Phillip Vargas in “Sunset Beach,” J.T. Cornell in recently cancelled Passions and most recently, he portrayed Vince Russo in Guiding Light. Possible date in September.

    8. Wally Kurth(ex-Sam Hutchins As the World Turns, ex-Ned Ashton General Hospital) is returning to Salem as Justin Kiriakis, who was last seen in Salem in 1991. That does that mean that Justin’s appearance mean Adrienne’s back on her way home? I hope so.

    Sorry for being so long!!

  2. Today I think Soap Opera Ratings,July 20-24,2009,The Young And The Restless,The Bold The Beautiful, and General Hospital in the internet.

  3. Jen

All I want to know is how much longer they are going to drag out the baby switch it’s dragging. I mean I know there isn’t a lot going on but I mean come on. Everyone knows Nicole is going to get caught. Also if people didn’t keep leaving the show perhaps they would have more going on. I like Days but I find myself getting bored with the same old storylines. They need to pick it up a bit and not let things drag and drag. Denver, any reason given as to why Felisha was let go? I thought she was ok. The people who need to go IMO are Lucas and Stephanie. They bug me all they do is whine it seems.

  4. Beth

The problem with Days is the storylines drag way too long & its hard to trust the writing. And there’s never any payoff for your patience…when you wait 5 months for a reunion, like I did for the Daniel/Chloe kiss in Maggie’s kitchen (Tues/Wed) but its only a 5 minute scene, she heads straight into a coma/he lands in jail the next week AND they top it off by releasing a rumor that Chloe loses her memory the same day as the reunion?? Who wants to keep watching if you’re just going to be jerked around for another 3-5 months? Not me.

  5. Jen

    I agree Beth.

  6. Shem

    Good for Guiding Light

  7. Boy Wonder

Just heard (here in Australia) that ATWT is on the brink of being cancelled! What next, slowly cut every show that is on the bottom off 1 by 1? Whats happened to ATWT? From what I have been reading about it for years it just doesn’t seem to have anything unique about it? The gay stuff is a real credit to the show as they stuck with the storyline. Whats ATWT draw and makes it different from everyone else?

  8. Ricky

ATWT’s draw is that it’s been about the same few families for 50+ years, and although they’re not on everyday, some of the same actors/characters have been around for most of those 50 years. The show has suffered from fast-paced, isolated storytelling recently. Nothing that a new head writer couldn’t solve, but I fear this icon will soon be leaving us. I’ll have to take a week off work to recover–long-time viewer.
