FOX's battle-tested Saturday night lineup of Cops and America's Most Wanted walked away with top honors. Dirty Sexy Money winds down its run with its final episode airing next week, and NBC's poker playing competition, Face the Ace premiered in last place. Pretty sure NBC saw that coming...

Definitions:
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.
Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)
Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs which are currently in approximately 24.4% of all U.S. TV households. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Wasn’t the movie on ABC “Red Eye” ?
” DirtySexyMoney”: Neither, dirty, nor sexy, nor money.
Wit the exception of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, the procedural repeats did horribly last night.
Adam, the movie on ABC was Red Eye.
Considering the fact that CBS has run that particular episode of Cold Case a number of times getting two and three quarters to three million viewers is good for a Saturday. I know this was at least the third time I’ve seen that episode. Could be more.
It was red Eye on ABC and that movie was GREAT!!! McAdams was hot in it! Great thrilla
Ouch-Face the Ace got Kings-level numbers.
ya, but Kings also had a price tag that was how much bigger?
What happened to Castle? It must not have been doing so great.
Not surprised at all about Face the Ace. The first contestant was barely alive, and Steve Schirripa is absolutely terrible. He doesn’t even know how to play the game. There is also some ridiculously forced small talk during the poker matches.
I like the concept, though.
In Plain Sight has been renewed for a 3rd season according to THR.
Criminal Intent is close to renewal.
Also note that many NBC affiliates didn’t even bother with Face the Ace…I know in Milwaukee they showed infomercials, and Houston went with the “St. Jude Special ‘O Lost Causes”…you know if you see a St. Jude’s special, the show must be really bad.
Uh oh!
With Face the Ace doing poorly, NBC must have lost nearly ten dollars in advertising revenue!
prada,
Castle repeats are moving to Mondayys.
I’m with Andrew on this. I’m a poker player and there is a lot of good poker on television. Face the Ace is not. the host is terrible. An insult to the game. The idea of competition is good, but everyone seems so forced. Poker on television is definitely an acquired taste. I understand they are moving this to Saturday afternoons in a week. I would suggest running it after Poker After Dark late at night. Oh well.
I am a huge poker player, but I wouldn’t mind if Face the Ace was canceled. The host was annoying. And the games seemed kind of rigged. Those pros would have crushed the amateurs. The amateurs ran so good while the pros couldn’t seem to get much of anything going.
I doubt the games were rigged but the Amateurs ran really, really well. The first guy was smart and realized he got lucky and got the hell out of there with his 40 grand. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this other guy crash and burn during the million dollar match.
Robert,
48 hours Mystery and Cops at 8:30 need an (R) and Face the Ace needs a (premiere).
Not sure why my previous correction got deleted.
