SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE

FOX continues to outshine the competition this summer, dominating last week with strong performances by HELL’S KITCHEN and fan-favorite So You Think You Can Dance, a solid premiere of new plus-sized dating show MORE TO LOVE, and an action-packed Saturday of COPS and AMERICA’S Most Wanted.  The network held its previous week’s rating of a 1.8/6 among Adults 18-49, beating its nearest competitor by +20% in the key adult demo.

On Tuesday night, HELL’S KITCHEN delivered a 3.4/11 and turned up the heat with significant gains over its previous week’s premiere performance, increasing +21% among Adults 18-49, +32% among Adults 18-34 and +15% in Total Viewers.  The culinary competition show won its 8p hour among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34/25-54, Teens and all key male and female demos and was the highest rated program of the night among Adults 18-34, beating originals of NBC’s America’s Got Talent, CBS’ Big Brother and ABC’s Bachelorette: After The Final Rose special.  In the 9p hour the premiere of reality dating show MORE TO LOVE achieved a solid 1.9/5 among Adults 18-49 and increased its viewership in Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers in the second half hour.

The competition intensified on Wednesday’s So You Think You Can Dance performance show, which posted a 3.0/9 rating and made gains in Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers over last week’s numbers.  So You Think You Can Dance was the highest rated program of the night among Adults 18-49, outperforming originals of NBC’s America’s Got Talent and The Philanthropist and ABC’s I Survived A Japanese Game Show and Primetime: Crime.

On Thursday night the final four dancers were revealed on So You Think You Can Dance, which garnered a 2.6/8 and was the highest rated program of the night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34/25-54, Teens and all key demos.

Back to back episodes of COPS at 8p and 8:30p on Saturday each ranked No. 1 in their respective half hours among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34/25-54, Total Viewers and all key male and female demos.  The 9p episode of AMERICA’S Most Wanted that followed also achieved the top spot for its hour among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34/25-54, Total Viewers and all key male and female demos.

Sunday night encore episodes of ‘TIL DEATH, THE Simpsons, American Dad and Family Guy again won the night for FOX among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens, Women 18-34 and all key male demos.
