Univision the #1 Network in the Country in Overall Prime

On Two Nights among All Adults 18-34 and Teens 12-17

NPM Broadcast Prime Highlights Week of 08/03/09

§  Univision was the #1 ranked network on Monday and Friday night among all Adults 18-34 (1.1 million and 979,000 respectively) and Teens 12-17 (208,000 and 171,000 respectively).  Additionally, among Adults 18-49 (1.7 million) Univision was the #1 primetime network on Friday night.

§  On Friday night Univision had the Top 3 Programs among Adults 18-34 with #1 “Mañana Es Para Siempre” (Tomorrow is Forever), #2 “En Nombre del Amor” (In the Name of Love) and #3 “La Rosa de Guadalupe” (The Rose of Guadalupe).  Additionally, “Mañana Es Para Siempre” (Tomorrow is Forever) was the #1 program on Monday night among Adults 18-34.

§  Among Adults 18-49, Univision had two Top Programs on Friday night with #1 “Mañana Es Para Siempre” (Tomorrow is Forever) and #3 “En Nombre del Amor” (In the Name of Love).

§  Univision was the #2 network in the country in overall prime among all Adults 18-34 (889,000) and Kids 2-11 (339,000) beating ABC, CBS, NBC, and CW.  Additionally, Univision ranked #4 among Persons 18-49 (1.6 million) beating ABC, Teens 12-17 (153,000) beating CBS and #5 among Households (1.8 million) and Persons 2+ (3.0 million).

§  Univision out-delivered ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX on 6 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-34, Teens 12-17 and on 5 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-49.

§  For the week, Univision had 6 of the Top 20 Programs among Adults 18-34 and 3 of the Top 20 Shows among Adults 18-49.

§  “En Nombre del Amor” (In the Name of Love) made Univision the #2 network in the M-F 8-9pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.1 million), Women 18-34 (668,000), Teens 12-17 (210,000) and ranked at #3 among Adults 18-49 (1.7 million) and Women 18-49 (1.1 million).

§  “Mañana Es Para Siempre” (Tomorrow is Forever) helped Univision capture the #1 network ranking in the M-F 9pm to 10pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.4 Million), #2 among Women 18-34 (808,000) and #3 among Adults 18-49 (2.5 million), Women 18-49 (1.5 million) and Teens 12-17 (212,000).

§  Univision’s M-F 10-11pm checker-board programming helped the network garner the #2 position in the hour among Adults 18-34 (817,000) and Women 18-34 (467,000).

§  “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) made Univision the #3 broadcast network on Saturday night among Adults 18-34 (485,000), Teens 12-17 (92,000) and Kids 2-11 (164,000).
