OMG! Will John & Kate reconcile to save he ratings!? I don’t know. I also don’t know which of Monday night’s episodes averaged 3.5 million. I do know that the show was not down nearly four million from the previous week.
The Monday 8/3 airings of J&K Plus 8:
9pm: 3.989 million
9:30pm: 4.169 million.
I’m guessing US totaled the episodes from last week, rather than averaging them before doing their subtraction. It’s the only way the math works. That math is still wrong, of course, but I suppose that’s beside the point. The central point that America’s love affair with J&K is on the wane is correct. But if it averaged 3.5 million on Monday, it was down from the previous week and by more than 12%, but hardly plummeting week over week.
