“The Secret Life of the American Teenager” (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

ABC Family’s critically acclaimed original series, “The Secret Life of the American Teenager,” delivered impressive week-to-week gains, ranking as Monday’s No. 1 TV telecast in Prime in Women 18-34 (876,000/2.6 rating), Viewers 12-34 (2.1 million/2.3 rating), Females 12-34 (1.7 million/3.7 rating), Teens (973,000/3.9 rating) and Female Teens (840,000/6.9 rating).

  • At 8 o’clock, “Secret Life” dominated the competition, ranking as TV’s No. 1 program in Women 18-34, Women 18-49, Viewers 12-34, Females 12-34, Teens and Female TeensIn Total Viewers (3.3 million), “Secret Life” qualified as cable’s No. 1 scripted program in the hour.
  • “Secret Life” grew its audience week to week by hefty margins, increasing by 18% in Total Viewers (3.3 million vs. 2.8 million), by 20% in Adults 18-34 (1.1 million vs. 916,000), by 21% in Adults 18-49 (1.7 million vs. 1.4 million) and by 17% in Viewers 12-34 (2.1 million vs. 1.8 million).

  • Sophomore season to date, “Secret Life” exceeds year-ago time period levels by triple-digit percentages, improving by 312% in Total Viewers (3.7 million vs. 899,000), by 353% in Adults 18-34 (1.2 million vs. 265,000), by 331% in Adults 18-49 (1.8 million vs. 416,000) and by 439% in Viewers 12-34 (2.3 million vs. 427,000).

Make It or Break It” (9:00-10:00 p.m.)

Vaulting by double-digit percentages week to week, Monday’s penultimate freshman telecast of hit breakout series “Make It or Break Ithit series highs in Adults 18-34 (656,000/1.0 rating), Viewers 12-34 (1.4 million/1.5 rating), Females 12-34 (1.2 million/2.6 rating), Teens (705,000/2.9 rating) and Female Teens (632,000/5.2 rating).  In Total Viewers (2.3 million), Adults 18-49 (972,000/0.7 rating) and Women 18-49 (813,000/1.2 rating), Monday’s outing stood as the series’ second-most-watched telecast on record, behind only its series debut in June 09.

  • Season to date, “Make It or Break Itat least doubles to nearly triples year-ago time period averages across all key categories, specifically in Total Viewers (100% - 2.2 million vs. 1.1 million), Adults 18-34 (119% - 610,000 vs. 279,000), Adults 18-49 (100% - 966,000 vs. 484,000) and Viewers 12-34 (193% - 1.3 million vs. 443,000).
