Ghost Hunters premiere scares up 2.5 million

The season “5.5” premiere of Ghost Hunters averaged 2.5 million viewers on Wednesday night, falling just below the season 5 premiere’s 2.6 million on March 11.  The episode also drew ~2% fewer adults 18-49 than the March 11 premiere, but considering a few more people are watching TV in March than August, those are still pretty good results.

On Wednesday Ghost Hunters squared off with Top Chef (which averaged 2.6 million) and Leverage (still haven’t seen the numbers for Leverage yet).
