BET thinks about getting in The Game

"The Game" is not over yet.

Cable channel BET is in talks with "Game" producer CBS TV Studio about ordering a new season of the multicamera comedy, a spinoff from the long-running "Girlfriends." The CW canceled "Game" in May after three seasons.

The THR story notes added complexity because the contracts with the actors have lapsed and new deals would need to be worked out...

    I really hope they reach a deal. I’m not going to get my hopes up like I did with Reaper though.

    But didn’t Kelsey Grammer said in the TCA Tour that bringing back The Game would be difficult? I read that somewhere. Anyway, The Game is a perfect fit for BET anyway I hope it will have a chance for renewal. I don’t watch the show but its great to hear that a fallen show could be given another chance
