so project runway was on bravo which was owned by nbc
then lifetime bought it from them for a lot of money
but now lifetime has been bought by A&E networks which is partially owned by UNIVERSAL
so was there really any point for lifetime buying it or was it just a win win (win) for nbc universal and abc and whoever else owns a & e
or does everything i just said make no sense

This post may seem verbose but it will save time later, maybe. 2.3 in Lifetime's most coveted demo, the one Oxygen and We supposedly were after ( at a great disadvantage, ) seems very good. I watched a Lifetime movie possibly for the first time ever last week because it was written and performed by SNL alumni also with Parker Posey and Jane Lynch from the Dogshow/For Your Consideration ensemble. A two star movie, but better than the Dulcolax and Metamucil-pushing stuff they usu. show and a clear sign along with DD Diva and Runway they are going for the jugular, finally. Are we seeing the true TV battles of interest taking place among those basicc cable behemoths ( always with Big Four $$$ behind them ) left standing, possibly angling for if and when the FCC okays bundling? Everybody from Syfy to MTV to History to TLC seem to be scrambling to place themselves amidst the very same demo which hits the Web the most often and for the longest duration. The Five or Ten Year War seems to have styarted with very few traditionalmedia outlets even being aware of the fact. ( Is it a coincidence that yesterday Comcast was given even more power over the pipeline by a fed judge than they already had?)
