CBS NEWS' "FACE THE NATION" TIED FOR FIRST WITH NBC IN ADULTS 25-54 FOR THE WEEK
For the week, CBS News' FACE THE NATION WITH BOB SCHIEFFER tied for first with NBC in adults 25-54 (0.8/04).
Television year-to-date, CBS is up +5% in households (2.0/06 from 1.9/05), and up +10% in viewers (2.89m from 2.63m) compared to last year, according to Nielsen ratings through Sunday, August 30 .
Bob Schieffer interviewed Senators John McCain (R-Ariz.), Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), and Orrin Hatch (R-Utah); Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.); and Georgetown University's Michael Eric Dyson.
