CBS Prime time News 5 million viewers per day

NBC Prime time news 4 million viewers per day

FAUX Prime time news 1.2 million. viewers per day

ABC Prime time news 1.03 million viewers per day

CNN averaged 598,000 viewers per day

MSNBC – 392,000 viewers per day.

looks like the majority are looking for that *fair and balanced* elsewhere.

All of them deserve a lot of credit for conducting these meetings and subjecting themselves to the slings and arrows, unlike those who ducked out in some way. As for the “Great White Hope” comment, it was not a good expression to use (even though “white polluters” is no better). She wanted to convey that we are in need of a charismatic leader who is not so socialistic. In fact, a great black hope would be even better. I wonder which Crayola crayon will be renamed first — change “black” to “coal”, and “white” to “blank”. Don’t laugh. The word “gay” was highjacked long ago. We are far too sensitive.

It’s too bad that Axelrod and Emanuel changed the original format of Obama’s school talk session, under pressure. The original lesson plan was going to ask children to “write letters to themselves about what they can do to help the president.” With the devastating loss of an excellent csar/adviser like Van Jones, he could use the help from students. It’s obvious that the Liberal Democrats can’t provide it. Maybe he can entice Michael Moore onto the Whitehouse Staff. He hates Capitalism and almost everything else about the U,S,, so he would fit right in and make a good csar.

My eyes are wide open Mike, go back to swallowing Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, and Coultergeist’s cum while gladly bending over infront of Warren Jeffs. I imagine you must be parched and dry at this point. Your party already diminished this country far enough thank you. I accepted the facts about Van Jones past, not what was distorted by Beck. He said so many times that his beliefs would not have effected how we would’ve, and apparently still will do his job. He’s not the only political figure who has had a questionable history. In addition it shows how little people thought of the rigth if they were willing to elect someone who had those ties.

I was more that willing to Vote for McCain in the last election until he picked the hopeless excuse for running mate that Sarah Palin was. That choice is what brought the experience part into play. When McCain ran on a position of having more experience than the other guy and then picked someone with less experience and less education whose beliefs were close to what conservative radicalism is, that’s when he lost credibility with Americans. Hence people trusted Obama more and soon will again despite how he is treated by the right.

Regarding the president’s speech: It was appropriate and needed. As initially planned however, the whole “package” was nothing like this, as you well know. It is NOT appropriate for ANY president (or his staff) to ask school children to sing the praises of any individual in government, to write about what they can do to help HIM, to be made to respond as did the 11 year old girl at that infamous town hall meeting. (“Why do so many people pick on you?”) Had FNC not brought attention to this indoctrination package, we would have had an American president basically saying to school children “Ask not what your President can do for you; rather, ask what you can do for your President.” A subtle, but extremely critical, difference that proponents of an entitlement society cannot or will not recognize. Once again the administration was able to do what it is extremely adept at doing: throw out some outlandish scheme to see how it plays in Peoria, then having the President draw it back in when it doesn’t play well. Oh, those rambunctious staffers! When will they ever learn!

Once again, leave it to FNC to keep such rotten tomatoes from sticking when they hit the wall.

Regarding Van Jones, such people are enemies of democracy. Do not be delusional in thinking they are merely against capitalism. Van Jones is able to call a large portion of our government a-holes without being thrown into jail. Any true American would defend his right to do that. He is free to sign a petition blaming George Bush for 9-11. He is free to be a Communist. We are NOT a country that condones McCarthyism, so he was not jailed for that. He is NOT free, however, to be put into a position with the power and inclination to subvert the very freedoms he and we enjoy.

Did watch the speech Sharon. Good speech and good message for the kids. It was the Dept of Education putting out a curiculum to go along with the speech that bothered most of us. Writing letters on how to help the president?? How about letters on how to help the country or how the country inspires you –not how the pres inspires you. Its not all about Obama. In any event once they took back the illegal curiculum(it is against the law for the Dept of Ed to write a curiculum) everything was ok. The text of the speech was great.

How did Beck diminish what little character Jones had? He said he was a communist, which Jones admitted to and showed videos of crude and racial remarks he actually said. He showed the actual signed petition for the truthers. I am sorry but Van Jones had no character to diminish.

You gotta love the spin here. We don’t have to accept that O’Reilly is drawing more viewers than Olbermann because O’Reilly isn’t a news show (and Olbermann is??). We don’t have to worry that our democracy will become a thing of the past because socialism is an economic system, not a political one. Beck has no credibility because he is losing advertising support, despite the fact that he garners a majority of available viewers. Bush was a terrorist. Democrats are Marxist terrorists. Obama is a fascist. And 3.5 million is the same as 1.2 million, if not less. Come on, people.

The Nielsons are fact. The numbers are what they are. Most of the people who get their news from television watch NBC, Fox News, and the morning shows on ABC and NBC. The fact remains that if you wanted to get the biggest news story of the weekend, the ONLY place you could get it was FOX News. If you got your news elsewhere, you heard about it only after it was all over. Of course, that is why major news-worthy resignations occur over the weekend, and a holiday weekend at that, in the middle of the night. Under the radar — almost. Thank the powers that be for the FOX News radar.

As for Mr. Jones, good riddance. If not for Fox News, we would be only hearing what the administration is SAYING it will do. FNC is our only credible means of seeing what the administration is DOING.

One calls for involuntary sterlization( put chemicals in the water) and the other thinks animals should be able to sue people. Obama is proving to being close to incompetent. Olbermann – 643,000 viewers (211,000) (298,000) Second showing plus first of 1,242,000 viewers=1,885,000 viewers. not to mention online showings on MSNBC.com. I’ll go conservative and say another 200,000. Plus showings in the next day (two others before 8 am) we’ll say 300,000 for 2 am and a scratch at 4 am with 80,000. So total at 2,465,000 for the same show. This is a conservative estimate. Not bad for old Keithy is it?

Keith has only dropped below 1,000,000 viewers in the past two months (Aug he had one showing at 997,462). Glen’s 2.8 means very little since he has a whopping 8 advertisers. He is going to be cancelled soon simply because he can’t sell ad space. 55:40 of show with 4:10 of ads is NOT a good ratio. Especially considering Keith has 44:10 of show and 15:40 of ad time. Poor lonesome roads beck is running out of time. Sad for you.

What I don’t understand is why anyone that isn’t a member of our so called “Government” (and I use term LOOSELY) cares about politics. Our “National Vote” is submitted to an electoral college so we have a 50/50 shot at winning a vote and that doesn’t always mean the representative will vote the way we “voted” him to. You will no longer find this anecdote in the history books. What has replaced this encouragement of a good work ethic in our current value system? Entitlement. The Great Society. The Bible cannot be mentioned in public schools now without repercussion, much less the admonition from the Apostle Paul. What has replaced this source of moral code building blocks? Something called “Character Education”, which is a sorry and poorly administered substitute.

No decent person would hesitate to willingly give to help the less fortunate among us. However, to be robbed of honest earnings, forced to contribute against your will to unworthy recipients is inherently evil. We reward desired behavior. Who is being rewarded in our society and what behavior are we encouraging?

I hope alot of folks watched Glenn tonite. If only all commentary shows could be this informative. Glenn had a room full of small business owners who quite clearly outlined how and why the government is ruining the economy by destroying small businesses that are responsible for most of the jobs in our economy. This is how TV should work– get the facts from the folks who know the facts not some silly journalist or talking head.

This is the exact opposite of Olbermann who relies on columnists from liberal papers( Eugene Robinson) or professors in their ivory towers( Turley from Georgetown). No one who has operated in the real world or created anything in the economy.

It should be no surprise why Glenn is having ratings at 5pm that any 8pm show would be proud of .

That is why every one from GE to Goldman, Pharma, and companies of the like are supporting this man because he is cementing their place in the U.S. economy. You can point to past presidencies that have done the same but never to this magnitude. On top of that sorry if I hold this president more accountable to his promises than past since his whole champaign was ran on change and he was voted into office by an overwhelming majority .

Glenn is the man because he tells it like it is whether your a democrat or republican all the people who hate him and talk bad about him are either elitist or ill informed.

Will is starting to fade the way of Sharon. Redistribution of wealth? Have you listened to anything Obama has said? So what there haven’t been any bills yet? He has stated many times about something concerning “redistributing” the wealth.

Look, I’m not saying anyone should die because they can’t afford healthcare. Deadbeats and illegals on the verge of death always have the emergency room. That’s where they all go anyway. I’m talking about healthcare as a whole. I don’t want free healthcare. I’d rather pay for it out of my own pocket before I’d trust the government to take care of it. Let rationing happen in this country and you will start seeing really bad things happen. Nobody is debating that we don’t need health reform. We definitely do. What we don’t need is the socialized mess the messiah is trying to push upon this country.
