These type tactics are pretty typical of people in your position. Attack the messenger since you can’t dispute the message. Try to make them look bad and unbelievable, so nobody will take them seriously. Thankfully there are a still people on either side that can see through and are above these antics.

I like that idea of scrapping their “News” shows and shwoing more Lockup and the Child Predator shows. I’ll admit I enjoy them from time to time. I watch their “News” but not out of enjoyment. Mostly to try and gain an understanding of how people think or are “informed” on certain things.

Also if you miss an evening of Fox News, MSNBC has the replay/highlight show on around 8pm every night.

Could it be a lot of former hard working people who are retired and have the common sense to watch a reliable channel like Fox News to get the straight and balanced news?

Agreed. However, the Bush administration knew they could use an imminent terrorist attack to force their agenda. Hence their complicity and subsequent cover up. When the 911 commission wanted to interview Bush and Cheney independently and they refused, that was an admission of guilt, plain and simple. There’s no spinning it any other way. 31,483+ wounded and 7,343+ dead Americans to line the pockets of KBR and Halliburton.
