Corrected & Updated: Cable News Ratings for Wednesday, September 9, 2009: CNN FNC has most cable news network viewers for Obama address

correction: earlier I'd had the post headlined that CNN had the most viewers for the address when  FNC had the most viewers for the address by a wide margin.  The numbers in the post were correct but for some reason, today, the data for the 8pm-9pm hour was broken out into half hours and what is always sorted FNC, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, HLN   was sorted FNC, FNC, CNN, CNN, etc and it threw me off.

I apologize for the error and at least for the 8pm-9pm hour have inserted the networks into the listings.  Normally that's not necessary because the program names make things clear.   Again, I apologize for the error.  And if it helps, here are the Cable News ratings by actual program duration courtesy of @Travisyanan on Twitter:
