NICK AT NITE’S PREMIERE OF EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS
DRAWS 1.8 MILLION TOTAL VIEWERS, POSTS GAINS WITH ADULTS 18-49
Nick at Nite’s latest prime-time addition to its family-programming lineup, Everybody Hates Chris (Monday, Sept. 7, 10 p.m. ET/PT), scored 1.8 million total viewers in its Labor Day premiere. The series also drew double-digit gains with adults 18-49 (+25%) and women 18-49 (+20%) and ranked as the most-watched live action premiere for the net with adults since the debut of Home Improvement (2007).
Ratings highlights include:
- The premiere scored 1.8 million total viewers (+8 %) and double-digit gains over last year's like time period with adults 18-49 (+25%) and women 18-49 (+20%), averaging a 0.5/592,000 A18-49 and a 0.6/372,000 W18-49.
- The premiere also ranks as the most-watched live action premiere with adults on the net since Home Improvement debuted in 2007.
Winner of a NAACP Image Award® for Outstanding Comedy Series, and nominated for a Golden Globe® and People’s Choice Award, Everybody Hates Chris is a single-camera comedy inspired by Chris Rock’s real-life childhood experiences. Co-created and narrated by Rock, along with co-creator and writer Ali LeRoi, the series tells the story of a teenager growing up as the eldest of three children in Brooklyn, New York, during the early 1980s.
