This clearly shows that show would be a decent cable series. It pulled similar numbers on the CW.
I remember when Nick-at-Night was about classic sitcoms (I Love Lucy, Green Acres, Bewitched, Munsters, Mork & Mindy). Then sometime in the 90′s they sped up the decades and offered recent shows, a lot of them NOT classics.
I guess their old Nick-at-Night format/guidelines were shuffled off to TV Land.
Hey, does anybody remember when they tried to launch an original show? Something about a family from a 50′s black-and-white sitcom who magically transport to current time? Yeesh.
Hi, Honey, I’m Home? Was that on Nick-at-Night? Ok, I checked and it aired on ABC during TGIF and then would re-air on Sundays on Nick-at-Night. According to the wiki, this was the first “insta-rerun.” But the second season did air only on Nick-at-Night. Briefly.
Oh yea! Good call, Julia.
I vaguely remember that show. I’m shocked that it lasted into a second season. I remember it being kinda raunchy; especially for Nick-at-Night back then. I specifically remember an episode devoted to explaining sex to them.
I remember liking the show, though that was way before I was old enough to really follow any show. I caught whatever was on when I could.
Wow for Everybody Hates Chris. I remember it was one of the most hyped new show before and the premiere got huge ratings (and if I remember it right it even beat NBC’s Joey).
Nick-at-Nite needs to go back to showing some classics instead of these awful 2000s shows like Chris.
Chris DOES NOT belong on nick@nite. Didnt it finish just like a year or two ago? WTF? If they’re airing Chris, than they should pick up Hope&Faith too…nick@nite doesent do classic anymore…their best classic now is the nanny and thats it.
Chris finished this past year. And OpeningDay and Anil, I 100% agree.
bring back the old shows on nickelodeon and nick at nite roseanne and the old shows forever and ever thank you
Guys give the show a chance! I love that show, it’s very oringinal and funny (Unlike Glen Martin). EVERYBODY LOVES CHRIS!…. OBAMA RULES!!!lol
The show should’ve never been canceled.
