Even While Doing NBC PR's Bidding, The NY Times Manages Some Snark

In yet another article about The Jay Leno Show, this one about the different ways it's being marketed, comes evidence that even while slurping up to the NBC PR machine the NY Times can display some snark.

Anyone who tried to miss the marketing blitz by not watching NBC — and lately, that means about 98 percent of the country — has found it hard to avoid.

While I laughed, the fact is that NBC's recent primetime viewership 2 rating only means that on average during primetime 98% of the country isn't watching. :)

  1. yes, but on average 98% of the country weren’t watching any network in primetime that week!

  2. just a little FYI…they are really pimping The Jay Leno Show on AFN (The American Forces Network) over here in the “Undisclosed Location” that I’m at in Southwest Asia.
